Tadawul down 61 pts at Monday’s close

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Monday’s trading in decline, for the second consecutive session, as the main index (TASI) lost 0.89% or 61.20 points and closed at 6,804.54 points.

A total of 169.32 million shares were traded today through about 180,500 transactions at SAR 3.43 billion.

MIS was the highest gainer and increased by 8.48%, while Riyad REIT topped the losing stocks and plunged by 4.21%.

Alinma was the most actively traded stock with 22.76 million shares, logging the highest turnover of SAR 364.14 million.

As for the market sectors, the energy index went down by 1.65%, while telecom and banks lost 1.54% and 1.06%, respectively. Likewise, the materials sector index closed down by 0.45%.

Meanwhile, the Nomu Parallel Market declined by 0.36% and ended the second session of the week at the level of 5,902.22 points.
