Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Sunday’s trading session in decline, after rising for two consecutive days.
The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) lost 1.08% or 89.08 points today and closed at 8,157.51 points.
In total, 151 stocks ended the session in losses, while 36 closed in green.
Traded values reached SAR 3.82 billion, compared with SAR 3.7 billion in the previous session, as traded volumes also increased to 157.67 million shares, up from 145.69 million shares on Thursday.
As for the performance of the market sector indices, 19 sectors closed in red, led by banks and materials that decreased by 1.57% and 0.82%, respectively, while energy and telecom fell by 0.72% and 0.48%, in that order.
Umm Al-Qura Cement topped the rising stocks and surged by 10%, while Alinma Bank was the biggest loser and plunged by 3.71%.
Similarly, the main index of the Parallel Market (NOMU) went down by 107.04 points, or 1.46%, and closed at 7,224.95 points.
