Tadawul drops 17.26 pts at Sunday’s close

Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Sunday’s trading in decline after the Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) had fallen by 0.24% or 17.26 points to reach 7,292.54 points.

The turnover surged to SAR 263.9 billion on Sunday after 2.348 billion shares were exchanged.

Moreover, the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) led the trading activity through the exchange of 2.1 billion shares at a turnover exceeding SAR 259.2 billion ($69 billion) as Saudi Aramco completed the acquisition of 70% of SABIC’s shares via four transactions.

The banks sector led the losers with 0.34%, followed by the telecom index with 0.28%.

Saudi Industrial Services Company (SISCO) came on top of the green zone with 9.1%, whereas Filling and Packing Materials Manufacturing Company (FIPCO) topped the red zone with 2.7%.
