Tadawul ends Monday down 0.55%

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Monday’s trading session in red for the second day in a row, as the benchmark index TASI lost 0.55% and closed at 8,112.69 points.

Traded volumes amounted to 151.23 million shares, with a turnover of SAR 3.86 billion.

Losses were recorded by 13 market sectors, led by the telecom index that dropped 1.78%, while materials, banks, and energy declined by 0.84%, 0.57%, and 0.23%, respectively.

Other sectors ended the session in gains, with software and investment rising by 3.4% and 2.43%, respectively.

Al Sorayai was the biggest losing stock today and dropped 4.21%, while Aseer was the top gainer and added 8.13%.

Al Rajhi logged the highest turnover with SAR 402.18 million, while Alinma was the most actively traded stock with 11.48 million shares.

As for the main index of the Parallel Market (NOMU), it closed at 7,191.64 points, rising by 3.88% or 268.3 points.
