Tadawul ends Wednesday above 7,000 pts

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) rose 0.93% or 64.7 points to close at 7,050.9 points on Wednesday.

Traded value reached SAR 3.6 billion, as 145.6 million shares were exchanged through 8,700 transactions.

SABIC was the most active in terms of traded value with SAR 613 million. The stock went up 1.18% to SAR 99.75.

Nadec topped the green zone and hiked 9.7% to SAR 31.5.

The pharmaceuticals sector was the only loser and fell 0.54%, while the utilities sector topped the gaining sectors and increased 2.54%.

The material, banks, and telecom sectors gained 0.99%, 0.41%, and 0.73%, respectively.
