Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Wednesday’s trading session 0.08% or 5.86 points lower, closing at 6,966.53 points.
The Nomu-Parallel Market index gained 0.78% or 46.81 points to close at 6,036.75 points.
Liquidity shrank to SAR 3.3 billion ($883.7 million) after trading volume decreased to 175.63 million shares.
The consumer goods segment led decliners with 1.13%, followed by the retail and telecom sectors which lost 0.84% and 0.14%, respectively.
Farm Superstores led the losers with a fall of 2.27% to SAR 28.40, while Enaya topped the winners with a rise of 6.69% to SAR 17.55.
Alinma Bank was the most active stock, with turnover worth SAR 367 million after 25 million shares were exchanged. The stock fell by 0.61% to close at SAR 14.65.
