Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Wednesday's trades in the green for the fifth session in a row.
The main index increased 0.51% or 36.24 points and closed at the level of 7,128.12 points.
GASCO topped gainers and hiked 9.75% to SAR 37.5, which is nearly its highest price in 10 years.
The utilities sector led the best performers and rose 3.11%, followed retailing which went up 1.32%.
On the other hand, the energy sector lost 1.63%, followed by the commercial and professional services which went down 1.2%.
Traded values decreased to SAR 4.91 billion from SAR 5.03 billion last session, while traded volumes declined to 261.95 billion shares compared to 281 million shares on Thursday.
