Tadawul extends gains on Sunday for eleventh day

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) continued its upward trend on Sunday for the eleventh consecutive session.

The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) settled higher by 0.72% or 55.23 points to 7,759.48 points, the highest since February.

In the meantime, the market’s turnover retreated to SAR 6.48 billion today, compared with SAR 7.15 billion in the previous session and the trading volume fell to 312.37 million shares from 339.7 million.

The banks headed the winners with 1.75%, while materials added 0.5%. The energy and telecommunication services inched down 0.43% and 0.37%, respectively.

Basic Chemical Industries Company (BCI) topped 118 risers with 10%, whereas the National Company for Glass Industries (Zoujaj) led 66 fallers with 1.97%.

Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development led the trading activity on all levels through the exchange of 44.7 million shares at SAR 356.82 million.

Meanwhile, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) soared 3.19% or 253.61 points to 8,192.43 points.

Al Samaani Factory for Metal Industries Company came on top of the rising stocks with 7.88%, whereas no decliners were recorded.
