Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) added 0.28% or 19.2 points to 6,968 points at Thursday’s opening session.
By 10:45am Makkah time, 25 million shares were exchanged through 16,980 transactions at a value of SAR 552.66 million.
The food retailing sector led the best performers and increased 1.2%, followed by the banks sector with 0.52%.
The material and telecom sectors went up 0.07% and 0.34%, respectively.
Farm Superstores topped the green zone and hiked 4.4% to SAR 31.60, while Yansab led the red zone and fell 1.7% to SAR 56.50.
Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market shed 0.43% or 22 points to stand at 5,098.85 points.
Raydan Trading was the only gainer and inched up 0.29% to SAR 31.20, while Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati for Bookstores stood stable at SAR 17.35.
