Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Monday’s trading in the green zone for the fourth consecutive session, reaching its highest level almost a month.
Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) gained 1% or 56.93 points, and closed at the level of 5796.85 points, its highest level since 26 September.
Total turnover increased to SAR 3.65 billion ($974 million) compared to SAR 3.34 billion ($891 million) in last session, while traded volumes declined to 269.76 million shares from 279.3 million shares on Sunday.
All sectors closed in green except for petrochem, and media and publishing, which slipped 0.02% and 0.01% respectively.
Industrial investment took the lead and gained 2.18%, followed by telecom and banks with 2.07% and 1.07% respectively.
Alyamamah Steel led the session’s gainers and surged 8.1%, followed by Alujain with 8.02%, while Saudi German Hospital led the decliners and dropped 2.97%.
Alinma registered the highest turnover with SAR 335.8 million, while Dar Al Arkan was the most active in traded volumes with 53.86 million shares.
