Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Tuesday’s session on a positive note, rising for the second consecutive day, as the main index added 1.74% or 114.54 points and closed at the level of 6,710.51 points.
A total of 228.55 million shares were traded at a value of SAR 4.44 billion through 197,000 transactions.
Sulaiman Alhabib surged by 9.98%, topping the rising stocks, while Halwani Bros was the top losing stock after closing down by 3.84%.
Alinma logged the highest turnover with SAR 348.34 million, while Dar Al Arkan was the most actively traded stock with 35.19 million shares.
The energy sector index increased by 2.62%, while materials and telecom gained 2.36% and 1.72%, respectively. Likewise, the banks' sector closed up 1.51%.
In the parallel market, the NomuC index closed up by 5.95% at 6,861.05 points.
