Tadawul loses 69 pts at Tuesday’s close

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) fell 0.99% or 69.35 points to close at 6,942,38 points on Tuesday.

Traded value increased to SAR 3.25 billion compared to SAR 2.98 billion on Monday, while traded volume decreased to 194.5 million shares compared to 196.6 million.

The REITs sector was the only gainer and added 1.88%.

Utilities topped the worst performers and lost 2.48%, followed by the energy sector which retreated 2.39%.

The telecom, material, and banks sectors levelled down 1.36%, 1.1%, and 0.64%, respectively.

Al Ahlia Cooperative Insurance led the 142 losing stocks and declined 5.95% to SAR 12.65, while Al Rajhi Takaful topped the 23 green shares and rose 3.3% to SAR 45.60.

Alinma Bank was the most active in terms of traded value with SAR 332 million. The stock closed stable at SAR 14.60.

Dar Al Arkan was the most active in terms of traded volumes, exchanging 39.8 million shares. The stock went down 1.14% to SAR 6.05.
