Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) gained 7.72% or 467.6 points on a weekly basis to close at 6,528 points up from the level of 6,060.46 points a week earlier.
The market main index hit five – years one week high amid the collective gains of the market sectors and the remarkable recovery of turnovers.
The market capitalization gained SAR1.523 trillion ($406.28 billion) on a weekly basis, up from SAR1.429 trillion ($381.02 billion) at the end of the previous week.
At the sectorial level, almost all the market sectors closed in green zone topped by the media sector that gained 20.3%.
The banking sector added 7.4% on a weekly basis, while the petrochemical sector added 6.65%.
Through this week trades, the market recorded 1.73 billion shares changed hands worth SAR 25.7 billion.
