Mubasher: The main index of Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Thursday’s trading session 0.72% or 50.13 points higher to close at 7,016.66 points.
Nomu, the Parallel Market Index, edged down 0.7% or 42.41 points to close at 5,994.34 points.
Tadawul posted liquidity worth SAR 4.92 billion ($1.31 billion), as trading volume reached 250.7 million shares.
The consumer goods sector grew by 5.3%, followed by the investment funds which gained 4.6%.
The real estate segment levelled up 1.2% on the back of Mobily and Zain which rose by 2.9% and 0.7%, respectively.
Al Tayyar was the top winner by a rise of 9.8%, while Qassim cement led the losers with 1.7% to close at SAR 57.5.
Dar Al Arkan was the most active stock on which 40.63 million shares were exchanged.
SABIC recorded the highest trading value of SAR 483.24 million.
