Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed in the red zone on Thursday as the main index slipped 0.03% or 2.29 points to close at 7,098.64 points.
The main index closed on negative note for the fourth session in a row amid the decline of 11 sectors including telecom and banking, while nine sectors closed in the green.
The gains of the basic materials sector, which includes most petrochemicals firms and cement firms, supported the performance of the main index on Thursday.
A round 83 stocks ended in green zone, while 77 stocks ended in red, and 11 stocks remained unchanged.
