Tadawul opens Thursday high, Nomu down

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) gained 0.36% or 25.15 points to 7,076.06 points at Thursday’s open.

By 10:50am Makkah time, 27 million shares were exchanged through 16,700 transactions at a value of SAR 635.6 million.

Alinma Bank was the most active in terms of traded value by SAR 93.3 million. The stock went up 0.53% to SAR 15.10.

SABIC came second and achieved SAR 84.6 million, through exchanging 842,000 million shares. The stock inched up 1.27% to SAR 101.25.

The telecom, materials, and banks sectors rose 0.98%, 0.7%, and 0.13%, respectively.

The retailing topped the losing sectors and went down 0.33%.

Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market shed 0.03% to stand at 5,023.35 points.

Arab Sea led the worst performers and fell 0.65% to SAR 16.9.
