Tadawul opens Tuesday up, Nomu starts stable

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) added 0.02% or 1.16 points to 6,865.70 points at Tuesday’s open.

By 10:56 am KSA time, 50.47 million shares were exchanged through 17,750 transactions at a value of SAR 662.75 million.

The retailing sector led the green zone and increased 3.4%, followed by food retailing which rose 0.6%.

The banks sectors also went up 0.01%.

On the other hand, commercial services topped the worst performers and fell 1.2%, followed by the capital goods and insurance sectors which decreased 0.83% and 0.76%, respectively.

The material and telecom sectors also lost 0.15% and 0.13%, respectively.

Nama Chemicals led the best performing stocks and hiked 7.7%, while Al Sagr Insurance topped the losing stocks and declined 8.8%.

The main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market opened Tuesday stable at 4,399.05 points.

Raydan Co came on top of three declining stocks and fell 1.9%, while Arab Sea and Abo Moati for Bookstores added 0.27% and 0.15%, respectively.
