Tadawul posts lowest liquidity in 6 sessions

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) added 0.26% or 18.21 points to close at 6,986,19 points on Tuesday.

Traded value fell to SAR 2.57 billion on Tuesday compared to SAR 2.68 billion on Monday, while traded volume stood at 110.75 million shares, compared to 131.25 million shares.

The telecom sector led the green zone and inched up 0.61%, backed by the Saudi Telecom Co (STC) which rose 1.1% to SAR 68.25.

The material sector went up 0.5%, supported by SABIC which gained 1.59% to SAR 98.50.

The banks sector also added 0.15%, after Al Rajhi Bank levelled up 0.37% to SAR 63.25. The National Commercial Bank (NCB) increased 0.49% to SAR 38.60.

On the other hand, REITs topped the six losing sectors and decreased 2.2%, followed by the food retailing sector which lost 0.58%.
