Tadawul records highest daily pace in 38 sessions Thursday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) rose 1.26% or 85.84 points to the level of 6,921.60 points at the end of Thursday’s trades.

Traded volume stood at 177.37 million shares achieving SAR 3.54 billion through 101,100 transactions.

The consumer durables topped best performers and increased 2.2%, followed by investment services by the same percentage.

The banks, capital goods, and telecom sectors went up 1.5, 1.2%, and 0.8%, respectively.

The REIT sector topped the red zone and shed 0.74%, followed by commercial services which inched down 0.16%.

Saudi Advanced Industries hiked 9.6%, followed by Saudi Re for Cooperative Reinsurance and Al Hammadi which gained 9.6% and 7.3%, respectively.

On the other hand, Southern Cement fell 1.2%, followed by Najran Cement and Umm Al Qura which went down 0.8% and 0.6%, respectively.
