Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Monday's session adding 1.13% or 61.6 points to stand at 5,522.57 points.
The real estate development and multi-investment were the only losing sectors shedding 0.24% and 0.10%, respectively.
The hotel sector led the gaining sectors increasing 3.63%, followed by the insurance and media sectors which advanced 2.67% and 2.08%, respectively.
The petrochemical sector also went up 1.66%, backed by SABIC which added 2% after the announcement of its financials which beat the estimates.
Moreover, the banks sector grew 1.26% supported by National Commercial Bank (NCB) and Al Rajhi Bank which added 2.19% and 0.17%, respectively.
On the stocks level, 140 shares advanced, 25 shares retreated and 4 shares remained unchanged.
Aldrees Petroleum and Transport Services Company topped the best performers hiking 9.98%, followed by Al Khaleej Training and Education and Al Sagr Cooperative Insurance which increased 9.97% each.
On the other hand Aseer Trading, Tourism and Manufacturing Company led the worst performers moving down 8.2%, followed Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance and Saudi Real Estate Company (Al Akaria) which lost 3.18% and 2.96%, respectively.
