Tadawul returns to gains on Sunday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Sunday’s trading session on a rise, as the all-share index (TASI) added 0.83% or 60.08 points and closed at 7,267.86 points.

National Gypsum led the rising stocks, as it gained 9.95%, while Bupa Arabia declined by 2.09% and topped the falling stocks.

Meanwhile, Dar Alarkan was the most actively traded stock with 36.91 million shares, while Al Rajhi recorded the biggest traded value with SAR 397.034 million.

A total of 225.87 million shares were traded through about 216,200 transactions at a turnover of SAR 4.4 billion.

Gains by the main index were supported by the rising market sectors, as materials and banks increased by 1.20% and 0.85%, while the energy and telecom indices levelled up by 0.68% and 0.21%, respectively.

Pharmaceuticals was the top rising stock, surging by 2.36%, followed by food production and capital goods with 1.87% and 1.65%, respectively.
