Tadawul rises, Nomu extends losses at Thursday’s close

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) increased 0.76% or 52.67 points to close at 7,001.6 points on Thursday.

Around 166.4 million shares were exchanged at a value of SAR 3.5 billion through 93,200 transactions.

The retailing sector led the best performers and rose 2.19%, followed by the banks sector by 1.4%.

The telecom sector went up 0.93%, while the material sector shed 0.05%.

Taiba Holding topped the green zone and hiked 9.2% to SAR 44.5, while Nadec led the red zone and decreased 3.38% to SAR 28.4.

Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market inched down 0.03% or 1.7 points to close at 5,119.28 points.

Arab Sea Information Systems led the worst performers and fell 2.26% to SAR 17.75, while Development Works Food topped the best performers and gained 2.55% to SAR 95.
