Tadawul rises, Nomu falls at Sunday’s open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) added 0.25% or 17.3 points to 7,018.8 points at Sunday’s opening session.

By 10:55am Makkah time, 33.7 million shares were exchanged through 19,500 transactions at a value of SAR 641.2 million.

AlJazira REIT was the most active stock in terms of traded values with 3.1 million shares exchanged at a value of SAR 52.6 million. The stock gained 2.8%.

Alinma bank came second with SAR 47.5 million turnover. The stock inched up 0.87%.

The retailing sector was the only loser and decreased 0.46%, while food retailing and REITs stood stable.

The materials, telecom, and banks sectors rose 0.21%, 0.04%, and 0.38%, respectively.

Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market shed 0.24% to stand at 5,107.1 points.

Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati for Bookstores led the worst performers and fell 2.12%.
