Tadawul rises 0.25% at close

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Monday rising 0.25% or 16.52 points to the level of 6,558.92 points.

Trading volume reached 162 million shares exchanged at SAR 2.9 billion through 66,000 transactions.

The real estate development sector was the best performer after adding 1.6%, followed by the transportation and agriculture sectors with a growth of 1.19% and 0.55% respectively.

Meanwhile, the worst performing sectors was the energy and multi-investment sectors as they declined by 2.12% and 0.91% respectively.

Basic Chemical Industries led the green list by adding 4.07% to SAR 32, while Amana Cooperative Insurance topped losers by falling 2.7% to SAR 9.10.

Alinma Bank was the most active stock with a trading volume of 38.8 million shares exchanged at SAR 523 million.
