Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Sunday’s trading session on a positive note as the main index (TASI) rose by 0.7% or 46.74 points to 6,678.44 points.
A total of 140.65 million shares were traded through 138,600 transactions at a turnover of SAR 2.75 billion.
Wataniya Insurance topped the rising stocks and surged by 9.99%, while Baazeem Trading was the biggest loser with a 3.08% decline.
Alinma was the most actively traded stock with 17.62 million traded shares and the highest traded value of SAR 267.22 million.
The telecom sector increased by 1.03%, while materials and energy levelled up by 0.96% and 0.71%, respectively, and the banks’ index added 0.60%.
The Parallel Market index (NOMU) surged by 9.43% to 7,289 points.
