Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) commenced Thursday on a positive note after its benchmark the Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) and the Nomu Parallel Market Index traded higher.
By 10:46 am Saudi time, TASI gained 0.6% or 43.17 point to 7,557.53 points, while turnover amounted to SAR 463.25 million after 23.28 million shares changed hands through 18,770 transactions.
The durable goods sector increased 1.4%, while healthcare added 1.37%. In terms of leading sectors, banks grew 0.37%, while telecoms and materials rose 0.38% and 0.36%, respectively.
The REITs sector was among the falls, losing 0.6%, followed by pharmaceuticals and capital goods, which declined 0.5% and 0.48%, respectively.
In the meantime, the Nomu Parallel Market Index “Nomu” grew 0.7% or 17.47 points to 2,440.67 points.
Abo Moati and Arab Sea boosted the Nomu index, after adding 0.84% and 0.4%, respectively, while other secondary market stocks remained stable.
