Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) witnessed eight special transactions on 1.5 million shares at a total value of SAR 53.7 million on Wednesday.
Four of the transactions were executed on banks, according to a bourse filing.
Banque Saudi Fransi (BSF) topped the transactions in terms of traded volume after 452,650 shares were traded at SAR 22.7 per share, generating SAR 10.28 million.
Samba Financial Group came in second with 437,370 shares exchanged at SAR 19.75 per share, with a total turnover of SAR 8.64 million.
Meanwhile, Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SABIC) saw 19,300 shares exchanged at SAR 84.75 per share at a total amount of SAR 1.6 million.
Private transactions on the stock exchange do not affect the price of the last transaction on the stock, the high-and-low share price, the opening and closing prices, the benchmark index or the sector indices.
