Tadawul sees highest daily gains in 16M

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Tuesday’s trading session on a positive note, as the main index (TASI) surged by 2.82%, its highest daily rise since October 2018, and closed at 7,556.52 points.

Traded volumes amounted to 171.03 million shares, compared with 198.26 million traded shares on Monday.

Turnover reached SAR 4.272 billion, compared with SAR 5.10 billion yesterday.

By the end of today’s trade, 191 stocks closed in green, while only one stock, Al Rajhi REIT, closed in the red zone.

NCLE and Ataa led the rising stocks and surged by 10%, followed by Allianz SF with 9.96% and Tawuniya with 9.85%.

Meanwhile, Al Rajhi Bank logged the highest traded value with SAR 520.52 million, while Alinma was the most actively traded stock with 15.15 million shares.

Software and Services led the gaining market sector and soared by 5.21%, followed by insurance and media by 4.25% and 3.9%, respectively.

Materials and telecom added 3.59% and 3.54%, respectively, while banks added 2.88%.
