Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) stated that SAR 10 million will be the minimum market capitalisation for companies listed on the secondary market.
At least 20% of these companies will be traded in the market, according to a statement released on Thursday.
Tadawul held several workshops to introduce the new equity market that will be established by the beginning of 2017.
It is expected that the new market will give the opportunity to a new batch of companies to be listed on the financial market, which will not be limited to the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the statement said.
The most prominent benefits of the market are raising the number of investors in these companies and getting liquidity to support their growth.
