Tadawul starts Thursday down; Nomu records gains

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) shed 0.16% or 10.86 points to 6,919.46 points at Thursday’s open.

By 10:57 am KSA time, 42.97 million shares were exchanged through 18,510 transactions at a value of SAR 657.58 million.

The insurance sector led the worst performers and fell 1.6%, while the REITs sector topped the green zone and rose 1.3%.

The banks and materials sectors went down 0.01% and 0.03%, respectively, while the telecom sector added 0.2%.

Medgulf dropped 9.8% to lead losing stocks, while Nama Chemicals topped gainers and increased 4.8%.

Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market rose 0.97% to stand at 4,452.82 points.

Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries advanced 3.47%, followed by Development Works Food which levelled up 2.4%.
