Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Thursday's trading session 0.24% or 16.82 points higher to stand at 6,983.35 points.
Trading volume reached 41.16 million shares through 20.56 transactions, with a turnover of SAR 792.53 million, by 10:50am Makkah time.
The consumer goods and telecom sectors added 0.19% each, followed by the real estate sector by 0.21%.
Aljazira REIT led gainers and hiked 8.8%, while Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance topped the worst performers and fell 2.5%.
The Nomu-Parallel Market index shed 0.8% or 59 points to 5,979.35 points.
