Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) announced the extension of the closing auction session to 20 minutes instead of 10 minutes on Tuesday, 30 April only.
The move synchronises with the onset of the second phase of listing the Saudi bourse on the FTSE Russell Emerging Markets (EM) index on Wednesday, 1 May, Tadawul previously said.
The second phase, with an inclusion factor of 15%, will be implemented on the basis of closing prices in Tuesday’s session.
The first phase of including Tadawul into the FTSE Russell EM index and S&P Dow Jones Indices, a unit of S&P Global Inc., started on 18 March.
The inclusion of Tadawul into the FTSE Russell Emerging Markets (EM) index will take place in five tranches.
