Tadawul to see SAR 2.3bn dividends this week

Riyadh - Mubasher: Investors are anticipating a series of important events in the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) during this week with 5 companies distributing cash dividends worth a total of SAR 2.33 billion ($621 million).

Around 86% of these cash dividends will be distributed by Saudi Telecom Company (STC) starting 21 August at SAR 1 per share and totalling SAR 2 billion.

Arabian Cement Company comes in second with a total of SAR 200 million in cash dividends for the first half of 2016, which are set to be distributed starting 25 August. The distributions represent 20% of capital.

Al-Aqaria, Dur Hospitality, and Bawan combined have around 5% of total dividends, with SAR 129 million.

On the other hand, Wataniya Insurance will begin the second stage of the subscription period of the company’s capital increase on 21 August.

Meanwhile, City Cement and Wafrah for Industry and Development will both hold their ordinary general meetings on 25 August.
