Tadwul closes in green on blue chips

Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Sunday’s trading in the green zone after two consecutive sessions in decline, on the back of leading stocks, and the rise in oil prices last week.

The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) added 0.77% or 48 points, closing at 6374 points, with total traded value reaching SAR 3.11 billion.

The energy sector was the top gainer today by adding 1.9%, followed by real estate with 1.59%, while hotels and tourism was the only loser with 0.14%.

A total of 125 stocks rose today, led by Al Sagr Insurance which increased 5.6% following the approval of distributing cash dividends, while SAICO and Yansab both gained 4.2% and 3.7% respectively.

On the other hand 36 stocks declined, with Dur losing 2%.
