Cairo – Mubasher: Tahya Misr Fund has allocated EGP 1.25 billion to establish 14 projects to mitigate the risks of floods.
The projects include four wastewater lifting stations and will be implemented in Alexandria and Beheira, the Egyptian minister of irrigation and water resources Mohamed Abdel Atti said in a statement on Thursday.
It is noteworthy that a strong thunderstorm and heavy rain hit the country last Thursday and Friday that caused damages to the country's roads and electricity and water facilities.
