Dubai – Mubasher: Takaful Al Emarat’s shareholders gave the green light to a 2015 dividend payout at 5.33% of capital totalling AED8 million, according to a bourse filing.
Presently, the company operates with AED 150 million distributed over 150 million shares at a par value of AED 1 each.
The shareholders approved the balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and the board’s report for the fiscal year 2015.
According to the bourse filing, shareholders of record till 27 April would be entitled to the dividends that will be paid out on the first of May.
In the fourth quarter of 2015, the company saw a rise of AED 8.9 million, 135.4% up from AED 3.8 million.
Annually, the company’s profit for 2015 grew by 42.25% to AED 10.215 million from AED 7.181 million.
