Mubasher: Tamdeen Investment posted a plunge of 96.6% in profits during the second quarter of 2017 compared to the same period a year ago.
Earnings decreased to about KWD 25,200 ($83,200) in Q2-17 from approximately KWD 748,200 ($2.5 million) in Q2-16, according to a bourse statement issued on Wednesday.
During the first six months of 2017, Tamdeen reported a decline of 10.8% in profits to KWD 7.99 million from KWD 8.96 million in the first half of 2016.
At the stock level, Tamdeen Investment soared by 20% to close Wednesday’s session at 288 fils, topping the winners.
