Taqeem says working to fulfill property appraisal requirements

Riyadh-Mubasher: The Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers (Taqeem) is working with Saudi Arabia’s central bank SAMA to find a mechanism fulfilling the requirements of real estate appraisal, Essam Al-Mubarak, Taqeem’s secretary-general, told Saudi’s Al-Jazirah newspaper.

He added that Taqeem will achieve some developments that will be reflected positively on the real estate sector.

“The appraisal quality will be insured in light of the property appraisal policy directed to financers,” Al-Mubarak said.

He added that the authority will offer a new service allowing financers to receive appraisal reports through Taqeem website, which will boost confidence in the appraisal results.
