Dubai-Mubasher: Emirates Classification Society (Tasneef) and Kleindienst Group have signed a contract for floating villas project currently constructed by the group, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.
Under the contract, Tasneef will provide classification standards, design assessment and surveillance during construction for the villas, also called 'Floating Seahorses'.
This contract ensures the leading global role of the UAE in all sectors including marine infrastructure sector and the transformation to new forms of marine facilities that are more environmentally compatible, said Abdullah Bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Public Works and Chairman of the Federal Transport Authority - Land and Marine.
After compliance with Tasneef's classifications standards for floating villas, Kliendienst will build more than 100 floating villas in the world.
The underwater level of the floating seahorse will be the idyllic environment in which seahorses can live and breed in their natural habitat in the Arabian Gulf.
