Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed Monday’s trading session in green territory, for the sixth session in a raw, pushed by the growth of the telecommunication and banking sectors.
TASI rose by 29 points, or 0.32%, to finish the session at 9,044.21 points.
TASI’s turnover went up to SAR 3.18 billion on Monday, compared to SAR 3.06 billion on Sunday, while the market’s traded volume decreased to 114.43 million shares from 124.49 million the session before.
The telecommunication sector topped the risers adding 1.21%, followed by the banking sector with 0.41%.
On the negative side, the transportation sector headed the decliners falling 0.41%, while the material sector inched down 0.1%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, levelled up 31.72 points, or 0.85%, ending the session at 3,781.42 points.
