Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index rose 39.38 points, or 0.86%, to close at 4,616.53 points on Tuesday backed by the telecommunication and banks sectors.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 46.36 million shares, while the market’s liquidity hit AED 117.66 million.
The telecommunication sector and its only stock, Etisalat, grew 1.23% each.
The banks sector added 1.19%, as First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) increased by 1.66% and 0.14%, respectively.
On the other hand, the real estate sector shed 0.67% after Eshraq Properties and Aldar Properties lost 1.37% and 0.49%, consecutively, while the energy sector inched down 0.03%, as Dana Gas retreated 0.9%.
