Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index gained 21.82 points, or 0.49%, to close at 4,446.81 points on Monday, buoyed by the telecommunication and the real estate sectors.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 35.12 million shares, while the market’s liquidity hit AED 77.17 million.
The telecommunication sector and its only stock, Etisalat, went up 2.19% each.
The real estate sector rose 1.47% after Aldar Properties and Eshraq Properties grew 1.46% and 1.41%, respectively.
On the flipside, the energy sector tumbled 2.09% after Dana Gas and Taqa declined 2.78% and 1.69%, consecutively.
The banks sector inched down 0.01%, as Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) decreased 1.31% and RAKBank levelled down 2.04%.
