Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Wednesday’s trading session with negative performance, dragged down by the telecommunication and real estate sectors.
The general index inched down 4.53 points, or 0.09 %, ending the session at 5,048.98 points.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 73.87 million shares exchanged with a turnover of AED 198.367 million through 1,360 transactions.
By the end of the session, the services sector topped decliners after falling 3.08%, followed by real estate sector, which plunged 0.67% as Aldar Properties levelled down 1.10%, while the telecommunication sector and its sole stock, Etisalat, went down 0.49% each.
Similarly, the banks sector inched down 0.03% on the back of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank’s (ADCB) 0.65% drop.
Meanwhile, the energy sector headed gainers with 2.85% as Dana Gas grew 2.66%.
