Cairo – Mubasher: Telecom Egypt’s board of directors gave the go-ahead on buying a fourth-generation mobile phone license, according to a bourse filing on Monday.
The landline monopoly’s CEO has been authorized to finalize all procedures, including the payment of one of four 4G license in 13 June 2016, the filing added.
The government expected to raise EGP 2.8 billion from selling 4G licenses during the fiscal year 2015/16.
