Cairo – Mubasher: Telecom Egypt denied reports about receiving offers for the sale of its stake in Vodafone Egypt Telecommunications.
The state-run telecom operator confirmed that it has no intention to sell its stake in Vodafone Egypt in the current period, according to a bourse disclosure on Sunday.
It is noteworthy during the first nine months of 2019, Telecom Egypt logged a net profit of EGP 3.2 billion, compared to EGP 3.5 billion in the corresponding period of 2018, including minority shareholders’ rights.
