Cairo – Mubasher: Telecom Egypt said it has launched the first trial for providing mobile services with the 4G technology.
The test was by using optical fiber cable, achieving an unprecedented speed, the company said in a recent statement.
This step comes a few weeks later after the company obtained the 4G license for EGP 7.08 billion of which 50% will be repaid in US dollar.
