Cairo – Mubasher: The landline monopoly Telecom Egypt has a submitted a request to the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) to buy extra 4G frequencies, according to a bourse filing on Monday.
This step will help the landline monopoly to become a complete telecom operator, the statement revealed.
Telecom Egypt was the first company to have a 4G license at EGP 7.08 billion, of which 50% will be paid in US dollar, said MCIT spokesman on 31 August.
