Mubasher: The telecommunication sector on Sunday pushed up the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE), after leading the bourse in terms of both trading volume and value, acquiring 42.5% of liquidity.
By 11:45 am Qatar time, the telecommunication sector jumped 3.76%, encouraged by the growth of Ooredoo and Vodafone Qatar by 3.99% and 3.43%, respectively.
Vodafone Qatar’s stock led the market in terms of trading volume with 3.52 million shares, generating QAR 31.77 million in a turnover.
While Ooredoo’s stock generated a liquidity of QAR 18.17 million after 521,260 shares changed hands.
