Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Tuesday’s trading session in red territory, pulled down by the telecommunication and investment sectors.
The general index inched down 0.04 %, or 1.78 points, ending the mid-week session at 5,053.51 points.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 61.23 million shares exchanged with a turnover of AED 175.173 million through 1,357 transactions.
By the end of the session, the investment sector topped losers after falling 3.73% as Al Waha Capital went down 4.10%.
Similarly, the telecommunication sector and its sole stock, Etisalat, levelled down 1.32% each.
Meanwhile, the energy sector headed risers after adding 2.28% as ADNOC and Dana Gas grew 4.05% and 2.06%, respectively, while the real estate sector levelled up 1.17% due to Eshraq Properties’ 1.35% increase.
