Themar raises issued capital to EGP 80m

Cairo - Mubasher: The equityholders of the Egyptian Arabian Company for Securities and Bonds Brokerage (Themar) approved raising its issued capital by EGP 8 million to EGP 80 million from EGP 72 million.

The increase will be implemented through the issuance of 10 million bonus shares with a nominal value of EGP 0.80 per share, according to a bourse filing.

As per the resolutions of the ordinary as well as the extraordinary general meetings, the capital hike will be financed through 2024’s retained earnings.

Meanwhile, the shareholders will receive 0.11 bonus shares for each original share held before the increase.

The eligibility and distribution dates of the bonus shares will be on 11 and 12 January 2026, respectively.

Any fractional shares arising from the distribution will be rounded in favor of minority shareholders through Misr for Central Clearing, Depository, and Registry (MCDR).
